You have mastered the beginner course or equivalent and are able to sew
your way confidently. You have a solid understanding of readying and working
with commercial patterns. You are ready to tackle a challenging project
such as a dress or blouse and are ready to explore and further develop your sewing skills.
This is a perfect course for those who are ready for a more challenging project other than pajama pants. This is a hands-on course where students will have the opportunity to advance their sewing knowledge by making a garment of their choice from cut to fitting to finishing.
Students should choose projects that have more intermediate sewing techniques such as set in sleeves, invisible zipper, darts/princess seam, or pockets.
At the end of the course, students are expected to have a well made properly fitted garments they can wear proudly
