1. Are sewing machines provided during class or do we have to bring our own?

Yes, the studio has is fully equipped with machines for every student. Unless stated otherwise, we provide the students with the essential tools for their course.

2. Why do children need to be a minimum of 10 years of age?

We have very strict policies regarding minimum age for children due to safety issues. Children under the age of 10 will not be permitted to continue the program and will not receive a refund.

3. What is your class size?

We keep our class size small, max 6 students to ensure everyone get the best learning experience. This allows for the instructor to attend to each student and provide them with some one-on-one time. A smaller group gives the chance for each student to work on different projects and their own individual endeavors. This provides the younger children with a safe environment since we can keep an eye on all of them.

4. If a class is marked as full, is there a chance you can squeeze me into the class?
Unfortunately, we cannot squeeze you in if the class is already marked as full. We want each student to have the very best experience and have as much time as possible with their instructor.

5. Do you do custom work or alterations?

No.

6. Do you host birthday parties?

No.

7. Do you offer private classes?

No.

8. Are you a retail store?

Our retail shop are for students to purchase their supply during class. However, we do have an online shop that you can place your orders at the comfort of your own home.

9. Do you sell any of your samples?

No.

10. Why can’t I miss my first day of class?

It is important to attend the first day of any of our classes since the instructors will provide you with important instruction and knowledge. The instructor will not be able to repeat this information to each individual person that has missed the first class. We want to provide the best experience for the students and this completely changes the flow of the class for students as well as the instructor.

11. Can I get a refund for a class I have recently purchased?

We do not offer refunds at the studio. If you cancel your class/camp/workshop within 48 hours of your class, we can offer you a credit that will be noted on your file.

12. Where do you go to fix your machines or for maintenance on your machines?

We bring our machines to World Sew Center on 1605 Queen Street West, Unit #5.

13. Is there a waitlist for classes?

Yes, there is. Please provide us with the name of the class, the day and the time you wish to take the class and we will put you on the waitlist. Once a spot opens up we will be in contact with you. Take note, we do not have a waitlist for drop in classes.
